The long running "wickedly funny" comedy trio has been around for over 20 years. They have been deemed "acidic," "razor sharp" and "the food poisoning of comedy." Mike, along with David Ilku and Nora Burns, are originators of queer humor and comedy as social critique. (photo Aaron Cobbett)

Premiering at Dixon Place, and later appearing in Easthampton and Provincetown, Spermhood is Mike's heartfelt-hilarious account of donating sperm to his two friends in the hopes of creating a child. Meditation coach, activist and speaker Sebene Selassie is one of my oldest friends. She wrote a beautiful book about finding a sense of connection that I can't stop recommending: You Belong. I had the pleasure of hosting her virtual book launch in July of 2020. She said she wanted it to be funny and not dry. I tried my best to stay on mission.

There was a moment in the 2000's when everyone wanted to make the next Real Housewives franchise. Logo tried it with "The A List" - about a group of ambitious gay men. My friends and I parodied it and I got to play a version of myself that is only slightly more insane.
